About Us
Marwood Academy was created by Fernando Martinez Sommer and Mariel Aguirre by converting their home and training place in Nuenen, The Netherlands, into an Academy for the future generation.
Their goal is to play an important role in the development of young riders who want to optimize their ability as riders and horsemen.
Purpose
Our approach is to understand our horses fully, create a healthy environment for them, develop technical skills, and then perfect the sport.
By combining horsemanship and performance, our students become independent, confident and capable riders.
